Volunteering at Sunbury Toy Library is a great way to meet other parents and help out your community!
What are the hours?
You’ll be required to attend during the opening hours, we suggest coming 15mins before and staying 15mins after for set up and pack up. If you are able to give more hours outside of our opening hours, please let us know.
What does it involve?
- Opening the toy library
- Placing them on hold for collection
- Checking in and out toys
- Cleaning returned toys
- Closing the toy library
Who can volunteer?
Anyone who is able to give a couple of hours on when the toy library is open.
Do you have to do every week? Is there a minimum requirement?
NO! Once a week, once a fortnight, once a month! Whatever you can put in to assist us in keeping our library open is a great help! Just add your name to the calendar on the days yours avaiable to assist.
Do you need anything?
Yes. Every volunteer requires a Working with Childern’s Check. The volunteer one is free to get.
