Membership and Borrowing

Parents, grandparents, carers and community groups are welcome to join the Sunbury Toy Library.

You can join at any Toy Library session, and you are welcome to come and look at the toys available before deciding whether to join.

We only accept cash, cheque or money order and
fees must be paid before borrowing

Then come back and choose more toys! Children love coming in to select new toys, and can choose whatever suits their interest to take home.

Group Memberships (playgroups, mums groups, etc)
If you have or are starting a group for young children, Sunbury Toy Library offer group memberships which allow you to borrow up to 8 toys at a time. $70 for 12 months for non profit groups– ie, mothers groups, community playgroups

Sunbury Toy Library offer a great value pre-booked pack of up to 5 toys for one week for use at a party or other event. This great value pack costs members just $15. We have toys to suit any party, from ride-ons, activity gyms and rollercoasters, sand and water play toys, sports equipment like pop up soccer goals and totem tennis, and much more.

Care of toys: We want our toys to be used by many families, so we ask all members to look after them well. Members are required to clean toys before returning them to the toy library.

Broken or lost toys: If you have lost a piece, you can bring the toy back and pay a small fine of $1 for the missing piece, which is redeemable if you locate the piece and bring it back. We aim to repair broken toys where possible- if a toy is broken, we will discuss with you a reasonable fine to help with the cost of repair or replacement.
